False alarm...

I'm not moving away yet... it'll be a while, but it's inevitable that something like that will happen, so I think I'm going to start doing stuff instead of waiting for stuff to happen... first thing to do is get my license and then after that I'll have to get a job that I can drive to and then I don't know. But I'm not moving away, so I'm happy.

I don't want to leave...

...But I have to.

I've gotta leave to go to work in about 30 minutes, after I get back I have to pack up my computer and stuff to go home.

I have to go home because I have to begin packing my stuff. Apparently, I'm moving. I'm not sure where to yet, but I'm guessing that it's probably out of town, to St. Louis, as my mom just got a job there and it would just be logical to move up there. So, I don't really know.

I'll try to find out more and tell you guys about it. Until then, thanks for being my friends.

Yay.

I (obviously) updated the layout of the site... so it's actually mine now, and not a dumb template that was provided by movable type. It's kind of plain, but I like the simplicity. I'll probably end up changing it again in the future anyway.

Ignore the messed-upedness

If this site is really messed up looking right now, it's because I started working on the layout and haven't finished yet. If the site looks completely different, then it means that I started working on the layout and have finished. If the site looks exactly the same as it used to look, then it means that I haven't started working on it yet.

Terminator TREE

I saw Terminator 3 last night and it was cool. Much better than I thought it would be.

Some good news today... As you all may know, both of my parents got the proverbial shaft when it comes to employment. My mom worked at WorldCom, and my dad worked at Williams. Who would have known that not one, but BOTH of those companies would turn out to be a couple of scandalous shit-pits that lay off 75% of their employees?

Anyway, my mom has been interviewing for this position up in St. Louis, and today we found out that she got the job... About $40 an hour, which is pretty damn good pay if you ask me.

The problem is, it's in St. Louis, meaning that she'll have to go live up there, and I'll have to stay here in Tulsa and take care of my dad. He hasn't been doing too well lately. I think the effects of chain-smoking cigarettes for 35 years finally caught up to him. He has had three minor strokes so far. He's having trouble walking now, but he's not completely helpless or anything... My mom just wants me to stay home with him, to make sure he doesn't fall down the stairs or something. I wouldn't really say that I'm staying home to "take care" of him, because he can do stuff himself... But just in case something happens, somebody needs to be here. So if any of you think it's weird that I have to stay home with my dad when my mom's not home, that's the reason.

Yay for money... I'm gonna go work at the drive in this weekend, and that's probably gonna be fun. And I don't have to worry about tying my hair back anymore.
