I've been playing world of warcraft A LOT. Also i've been doing kung fu more since I've had more free time and that's fun too. But back to world of warcraft. I like it a lot, and right now I'm really addicted to it. At first during the beta, I had my doubts about it, but after getting into it a little more I've realized that the game is a lot better than I had thought at first... I actually feel like I'm kind of powerful in the game, and earning money is actually kind of fun instead of tedious and intimidating.
The trade skills are fun also, which isn't that common in MMORPG's... the only other one that I actually enjoyed the tradeskill system was Asheron's Call 2, which WoW seems very similar to to me. The tradeskill system really isn't anything like AC2 but it's unique and fun like AC2 which is saying a lot because I'm pretty picky when it comes to that shit. AC1's tradeskills were more of a hindrance to your character than fun because you would have to specialize or train a certain tradeskill in order to use it, and your character's skill points were better spent on training a useful skill like healing or melee defense than alchemy or fletching or whatever. FFXI's tradeskill system would have been better if the recipes and ingredients were more easily accessible, and the skills went up a little faster so you actually felt like you were progressing.
I need to go to sleep though so I'm going to stop talking about it for now.
