i hate being sick

right now I feel like I caught some kind of cold or flu or something, which is kind of wierd considering it's pretty much summer, so I called in sick from work. I feel kind of bad for calling in, but on the other hand I've never called in before, but I've been called in plenty of times, so whatever.

I don't talk about my personal life much because I don't like feeling like I'm trying to make people feel sorry for me, but I'm sure people are wondering what's going on so I'll just give a brief summary. I can't stand living with my mother. She used to live/work up in St. Louis during the week, and come down to Tulsa on weekends, and everything was fine. The weekdays were peaceful and I was usually working all weekend or with friends, so I really didn't have to see her much. But then she got laid off (again, thanks Bush) and now she's back here at home, full time. I can't stand it really, she just walks in my room without knocking or asking. She kicks me off my computer so she can look at websites (she has a laptop that's connected to the network, I wonder why), she wakes me up while I'm sleeping to bitch at me. She calls me while I'm busy at work to bitch at me. I feel like I'm going crazy. She's not all bad though, she supports me and gives me a place to live and stuff, but she also dangles that over my head every time we're in disagreement. I have to get out of here as soon as I can.

joe come to the apartment. NOW

Just have one of us take you down to Jenks to do the driving test Joe. If I wasn't leaving tommorrow, I'd take you around with you driving and give you the pointers to make sure you pass, the little things that the testers look for. I'm sure some of the other guys remember and could tell you, don't know if I'd take Erik though, don't want to be driving like you are in a race, they don't like that much.

And yes, you should just go over to the apartment and hang out there, go to work from there, etc, that way you wouldn't have to be at home at all.

When she dangles it over your head you should say, "That's what a person does for someone they care about, except when they really care about the other person they don't hold it over their head like it's a power they have over that person."

I agree with JP, your mom shouldn't be going through a power trip about paying for you. She accepted that responsibility when she gave birth to you.

But on the note of driving/liscense. There's, let's see....Me, JP, Erik, Nick, Pepe, James, and W.James and I'm sure you have other friends too that'll help ya out. You shouldn't have anything to worry about.

AND, honestly if anyone needs to get away (as I can see you do) just come over to the apartment and hang out with us for a couple of days at least. Everyone is welcome and we even have an empty room atm if you need time away from everyone.

Get to feeling better Joe, we'll see ya soon enough.

My mom is sorta like that so I can see how it feels, not fun at all. I am sure we would all like to see your mug shot on one of those new shiny drivers license that Oklahoma is passing out.

Hanging out at the apartment would be awesome too, you should go over there.
