kotor and ffxi and stuff

So I haven't been playing FFXI that much. It's cool though, it's not like I quit the game. Sometimes I just take little breaks from MMORPG's, sometimes it's for a week and sometimes it can be for almost a month. I need to catch up on my single player games, or just games I would be playing if I wasn't playing FFXI. I got the legal Warcraft 3 battle chest in the mail today, so I got awesome battle.net action. I decided to buy the game because battle.lan doesn't work that well anymore. Almost not at all really.

I have been playing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic a lot. I have been enjoying both immensely, although FF:CC gets a little boring when playing single player. The game is more like Diablo than anything else. You go to town, sell stuff, buy new stuff, go fight, repeat. Sometimes there's little cutscenes to develop a story... I usually skip through them as fast as I can when I'm playing, I just want ACTION and CRUSHING.

KOTOR is great, contrary to what I thought before. I never really gave it a chance and now that I have, I love the game. It's like a mix between fallout and neverwinter nights, which are both great games. My main problem is, to be able to advance through the game steadily without getting your ass kicked, you have to play a soldier. But to be able to fully enjoy the game and see everything it has to offer, you have to play a scoundrel. But scoundrels get their asses kicked by everything. They get sneak attack which is badass, but you have to be in solo mode to do it, and once you pull it off the enemy could kill you before your party can get close enough to attack. Yeah, fun game though.

been playin UT2k4 a lot too. It's pretty fun, although there's really nothing new. The onslaught mode is awesome, it's like battlefield 1942 with UT weapons and vehicles. The battlefield is huge and you can pilot all kinds of vehicles, like trucks and hovercrafts that cut people in half. cool stuff.
