I guess I'm the first person to update since Joe did in December, man and even he was the first since I did, last September. No one updates anymore, maybe I can start a new trend. I always look at Jayjay's website about Quakecon and wonder if it will take another Quakecon for him to update again. He used to be good at it, him and Erik both. Come on guys!

I guess JP has always been good at updating, maybe we can get him to do some updating now. Come on guys, update! At least he isn't calling me randomly and screaming into the phone "UPDATE YOUR WEB PAGE LOOSER!" In fact, I think just talking about him doing that will invite him to do it again, shit.

What's up with me and my life? Not much, life is life. It's full of shit and disapointment, regret and remorse. Sometimes fun stuff happens, or I go to a movie, thats always fun. I try to keep busy, keep occupied, keep things off my mind, but it doesn't work. Wow bores me, video games bore me, they don't keep my interest. I've been spending most of my free time watching TV shows on the PC, House, Six Feet Under, Rome, and Deadwood. God I love all those shows. But games haven't been doing it for me much anymore. I'm trying to get back into Final Fantasy XII, and it's working some, but still feel like I'm missing this huge chunk of what my life should be like. The way I want it to be like. I can't play video games my whole life not thinking about the consequence of what I'm doing. I need a job, a real job, like I've said recently a "big boy job". I'm tired of working retail in the mall, that's not a job. I hope this year I can land a job, and save money. I don't know if money will make me happy, but it cant hurt?

I graduate in May, but I still have one more class to take during the summer before I get my degree. A degree in Communication, for those of you who don't remember. What does a fella like me do with a degree in Communication? I don't know, theres jobs out there though, maybe I'll get one of them.

I want to see everyone at Akon and Quakecon this year, we should start talking about it if it's necessary. I want to go, bad, I need to go. I need to spend time with my friends, get drunk with them, run around and be a kid again. Trips with your friends are awesome, trips with my friends are awesome. I know pepe won't be there at Akon this year :( but he will be back from his mission intime for Quakecon. Sadly I think JP will miss both for similar reasons. Too bad.

I hope everyone's life is going well. Seems like Erik and Tara have it made, I couldn't be happier for those two! Yay for life! I hope everyone else is doing well, as well. Rumor has it that Matt and Jennifer are getting married on the 20th of March ( I think?)! Yay! Maybe a trip to Tulsa is just what I need right now.

My friends band got to actually open for them, and I must say they were awesome. I couldnt imagine opening up in your own town for a band that came from there themselves. What and honor.

Anyways, it was a great time and they put on the best show in the world. Lets just say I wouldnt want to clean up after this show. Shit.

On the 31st of August, around 8:30, my dog Snickers passed away. It's strange to think that she is not here anymore. As she got older it just... nick 16 years is a really long time for a dog to live. On the 31st of August, around 8:30, my dog Snickers passed away. It's strange to think that she is not here anymore. As she got older it just felt natural, I got older/she got older, no big deal. She's been in my life since I was in first grade, and thats about as far back as I can even remember, for the most part not even that. I think I took her for granted, I've been in Norman for 4 years now, and not "lived" at home for 5. That was 5 years I really didn't get to see her, and time I didn't get to spend with her while I've been in school. Before I left I spent time with her everyday. I'd sneak her up into my room to sleep with me at night, and let her hide with me in my room when it stormed outside. She hated thunder, or anything loud I guess. If it started storming and no one was around she would go hide under a bed, or in my parents room. Kinda makes me sad because she was "My Dog", my family loved her of course, but she's the reason I have Sofie now. I love dogs, I love them as a companion, they don't judge, and they are always there for you and her not being around made me adopt Sofie. There have been so many times in my younger life where I could just go to her as a shoulder to cry on, or to be with when I was upset or lonely. In a since, she was my best friend.

She died of old age, and I'm so happy for that. Many people lose their pets to cancer, or organ failure, or even a car accident. My mom told me how much she meant to her more than her other dogs, of which never lasted longer than 5 years. What I'm saying is, my family and I were very lucky to have her so long. We knew it was going to happen this week, so my dad dug a very deep grave in our back yard. It was to hard for us to justify giving her to the vet to be "disposed of" in some incinerator or whatever. Not that it's wrong to do it, but that it was just too hard for us. It's very illegal, and in most cases people don't have the opportunity to even do so. But our backyard is very big, and my dad spent the time to dig a large grave for her so it would be safe to do so. My mom sewed her up a type of casket, like a thick clothish envelope that she was placed in before burial. My dad said he is buying a statue to put over her grave, that rests behind our small Koi pond in our backyard. It's comforting to know she will always be there, and when I miss her to much I can go sit in the bench next to her resting place, and just think.

I don't want to get to sappy but writing this is almost too much, it's hard for me to let go. Just so people who didn't get to really know her, here are some pictures of me and her in her last month. I didnt get to be at home when she passed, but I said my goodbyes last month, because I knew it very well could be the last.

Summer has been going pretty good, not doing much specifically, just working, hanging out, etc. I've been getting some good hours in at work, nothing to crazy but enough to get by. We're all moved in our new house, and have been for a few months almost. It's been good times, I just wish that some Tulsans would come up and hang out, because it is SUMMER! So get your asses up here, pronto!

Sadly I've had some computer problems, my south bridge fan (I think it's south) has stopped working, and the nforce chip is over heating. My computer doesnt stay on without a fan pointed at it that I bought. I'd like to replace it, but its this funny looking towerish fan thing, and the mobo peoples havent responded to me yet. I'd like to get this working so I can take this fan back downstairs.

I've stoped playing wow for awhile, I log on every now and then but I mostly just want to play some other games, some stuff that I've been missing out on. I finaly picked up Metroid Prime 2, and I'm making my way through that, and its fucking awesome. I'm trying to finish Advance Wars for DS, its getting really hard. Also been dabbling in some random PC games, The Sims 2, LOTR:BFME 2, Titan's Quest, and Prey.

Prey, holy shit. I beat this in about 2 days of around the clock playing, and it was awesome. I don't want to say its better than HL2, but I had way more fun playing it. 100% If you've only played the demo you really need to download it, or buy it because it has much more to offer. It's not all wallwalks and portals (even though I think that stuff is awesome). I wont go into detail but you need to play it. The story is pretty good, it's actually what drove me to beat it last night. Everything got pretty fucked up and I just had to see how it ended. While it is a FPS through and through, the story elements that it did offer were right up my alley, regardless of how story driven the game was or was not it still had a great theme.

Well I've got work in 40 min, so i should get ready soon. Oh yeah, and Max got a job working with me, and thats totally awesome.

I've been working some, and trying to get a new job, or a second job really. I've applied at Red Robin as a server, Josh is trying to hook me up, it would be cool to work with him again. Otherwise I've really just been getting settled here at the new home (on miller) and playing some WoW. I also just picked up the New Super Mario Bros. and it's pretty fun, a lot like the old school Marios and its really fun. I've also tried to get back into Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1, I figured I have extra time at hand so I should do things that I never had time to do before.

Adam and Token have been working out as roommates, which is awesome because the past year has been....difficult. As much as I love the guys I lived with, it was just too hard to live with someone in the same room, it made me extra uptight, and it taught me a lot about privacy. Now I have my own room, and it's fucking fantastic. My room is pretty big, and I have it set up perfectly.

I'm about 43 on WoW right now, It's still pretty frustrating to not beable to play this game with my friends, because all of them are 60 now, it sucks. I mean I like WoW, but I dont like it enough to play all day, and all night. In fact, I dont think I could ever like anything that much, there are too many other things out there, school, work, girls, friends, movies, or just playing with the dog. Don't get me wrong, part of me envys that I'm not 60, and that i'm not playing all day, and as mad as it makes me that im not higher up, but I'm still okay with it because I'm doing other things.

One more full year of college (and maybe a summer, well not maybe, yes) then I'm done. wow. This freaks me out, I don't really feel ready, mostly because I don't feel very strongly about anything that I am really talented in. Maybe computers, or the ability to learn more about computers, I think thats it. So naturally I want to do something with computers. I don't know what is out there for me, I just hope that I can make some good money, and maybe apply that with my Communication major. When I first entered college, or in high school I never thought about this stuff, it seemed SO far away, but now here it is, in my face. I'm pretty scared to be honest....

I don't know what else to write right now, I'm tabbing in and out of WoW as I write this, lozl! So yeah...Hope to go to Tulsa a few times, check out the theater and such, should be good times. For the rest of you Tulsans, head up to Norman, thats you PEPE, JAYJAY, AND JAYPEE. Okay? Deal.

They fucked up my order, so they kept giving us free deserts over and over again, then on my way out he REMADE me my order to go FOR FREE, so I got 2 meals 3 deserts ( we all shared these) then a free burger and frys that im looking forward to eating for lunch tomorrow.

Erik, I'm sad you were not there, but I understand, thanks for cooking those burgers though, I know you have to get up much earlier than us.

I felt pretty stupid, but she gave us the option to just take the final then double the grade, so I guess im doing that now.... I really didnt want to have all that presure on the final, but I was simply not prepared and I didnt feel like getting a D.

I'm in the library waiting for my 10:30 class to start. Bored, I went to google.com and figured I would type "funran" into google image search. To my pleasent suprise, every FFXI picture that I ever put up on the internet is there, and no one else. It felt kinda cool to type in one simple word that I made up and to have an instant photo album of my adventures in Vana'deil (or whatever the fuck).

Later this afternoon we are going to celebrate Holi (sp?), an Indian festival of color. It's actually not a muslim thing like I thought (Shereen, Yasmeen and Afy brought the festival to our attention), it's actually a Hindu tradition to celebrate spring. Basically we all throw powdered color at each other, while that sounds really stupid, it's actually really fun. Mostly because we also have water balloons, and then everyone is wet and covered with bright colors (anyone who is coming wear some clothes that are kinda old or something, even though it all washes out.) Plus were adding a few other cool things to spice up the day:

Holi (with colors)
Cookout
Water Balloons
LIQUOR !!!

So this is my formal invite to anyone that reads my site, PLEASE COME. Call me for directions and times or whatever but it's at the girls new house/afy, pumas, gavins old house. They will be providing the color, and hotdogs and burgers. It's up to the rest of us to provide snacks, drinks, cups, and whatever you can think of to bring. So if you are coming please bring some soda, or a bag of chips. Lots of people are coming too, it's gonna be awesome.

Who can resist getting drunk in the late afternoon? NO ONE!

Oh and their is a party that will be at the same place later that night, so make sure you save some of your afternoon alchohol for the night, because that's gonna be fun too. I think I've told everyone but I better see Erik and Tara there because they mentioned going to Tulsa.
