Big News

So.... Today I found out that I can get promoted to SGA, Senior Game Advisor (QA, Shift Leader). At a store like this, I'm third key, 3rd spot in the chain, everyone else is under me. I would do everything the store manager and assistant do, money, opening, closing, counting money, going to the bank, etc. I wouldn’t have to do conference calls, or go to meetings or big stuff like that. I would have to change stores; this is the biggest down side. It's a 20 min drive, mostly on the highway, basically like driving to Admiral Twin. The SM and ASM are people that I know well, and have worked under them at my store for many months, so I would know my bosses really well. My hours would increase this summer from like 15-20 to somewhere around 25-30. I would get at least a 1:50 pay raise, from 5.50 to 7 AT LEAST. I might get a 2 dollar raise, but I don't know. All signs point to yes, I prolly would have a harder time getting off for long periods of time to come home to Tulsa, but I would make an effort to make scheduled times where at least once a month I could come home for 3-5 days in a row (sometime during the week, or weekend when ever I could) A-KON will still happen, I wouldn’t let that get in the way, or the trip I want to take to Chicago in July with Ashley, Kelly, Puma, and possibly others. (My friend Shereen has an internship in Chicago and were going to visit her and it's going to be awesome.) ANYWAYS, I let me know what you think I should do, I think that I'm going to do it, the hours would be nice, cause I don't work too much as it is (10-15) hours a week.

Also, if I move stores I might have the option to move back as SGA at my first store, when and if that position opens up in the future.

Pros:
Higher Pay
New Responsibility
More POWER (having like 4 people under me)
More Hours
I could get a new computer FASTER

Cons:
Further Away
More Gas
Less time in Tulsa (maybe not)
Don't get to work at my normal store, with my normal staff

Pros outweigh the Cons so I think I'm going to do it.

I've got a paper to work on, peace.

Gimmie your opinions!

Lolz

My dog is terrified of the printer, I just began to print off some information for my speech on "Lowering the drinking age to 18" tonight. My thesis, if you can drive a tank in bagdad, vote for the leader of the free world, sign contracts, and smoke, an 18 year old should be trusted with a beer.

Anyways, yeah, my Dog made me want to post, she keeps raising her ears, and running away after investigating the printer. It keeps making those churning/shifting noises, and she is very confused. I tried to take a picture, but I don't know what I did with my Digital Camera, I think it's in my backpack and that is in the car, and that's too many calories! Stupid calories!

So school has 2 1/2 weeks left, and finals are coming up, for me I have 2 next week, because they are night classes. At least I get to take them now, and get them out of the way, less finals to study for on the last week.

I'm looking forward to A-KON very much, and I can't wait to visit Tulsa when school gets out. I'll prolly take my first real summer week off, and come down to Tulsa, and LAN it up niggs.

Peace

Oh Sofie says hi.

Time for an update

Not much going on with me. I've had a pretty slow week, I've had a little bit of homework here, and there. I've had some time to play some games a little, and still get my homework done. The dog has been doing much better, on average she still pee's once a day at least, but it's normaly not more than that, if any. It used to be accidents ever hour, so thats good. I started working on my documentary for the Sprio Mounds, which is due next Thursday, I'm going to try to finish it by tuesday so I can make the nessisary changes before class Thursday night. Otherwise, it's pretty boring over here in Norman, not much new is going on, just waiting for school to shrivel away into summer. I'm looking forward to some A-Kon, and moving into my new house! I just hope my cell phone works inside there, cause I don't get very good reception inside my house as of now. Note to self, never, ever get Cingular for the rest of your years. Fucking Cingular, fuck them I'm not even going to capatilize your name, stupid cingular!

Fuck YEAH

Ok, so I just checked Blackboard to see if my history teacher posted the grades for my latest test, and he did! I got a fucking 94 on my test, yeah fucking sweet huh? Man, that makes me so happy. I'm gonna get an A in this class for sure. I'm very very happy. My last test was a 87, and I've got full perticipation grades, and I'm about to start my final project!

WHOOOOOOO!

Carnivale

I get obsessed with stuff really easily, but HBO produces some very fine television. Sopranos was my favorite drama for years, but Carnivale took the place very quickly. Carnivale is more than a drama though, infact it's different than anything i've ever seen on television, ever. It's like reading a book that your in love with, they always say that books that turn into movies are never as good as the books. It's like that, the feeling that nothing is better than this. I know that this isn’t a book, but I think you know what I'm talking about. Anyways, we just finished season 2, and it ended with the world’s biggest cliff hanger. The reason I'm bringing this up, is that the show has not been renewed. The show is supposed to be a 6 season arc. HBO said that season 1 went to slow, and they would "can" the show, if they didn’t pick up the pace. Season 2 did just that, it went fast and quick, with a fast moving story line that made each episode a big cliffhanger. Because they did this, they dipped into the story line of the next few seasons. And now, we're left at another big cliffhanger, and they are thinking about not renewing it. I would hate HBO forever for cutting the seasons short, but even more if they end the show without allowing the story to be finished.

When my friend ate dinner with "Iris Crowe" she said that she thinks the show has a chance in coming back, but she asked him to make sure we sign online petitions, and take the HBO surveys. I know that most of you haven't seen the show, but for me, and all my friends who enjoy the show, please sign the petition, and take the HBO surveys. Every little bit helps.

Here is a link to the HBO forum where online petitions are being held.

Here is a fan based petition.

Here is a link to the HBO survey, please take it, and ask your friends to take it, and be nice, we want the show to come back :)

I just found this online, I might consider this. This is a list of people you can write to at HBO regarding Carnivale. I think im going to do this.

Iris Crowe!

Well, I just got back from school, where I got to chat with Iris Crowe before she introduced one of her movies. A friend of mine, actually had lunch with her, because he is assistant to the FVS director and they took her out to lunch. She was much different than she is in the show, much more friendly and not as dark and quiet, but that’s obvious. She is the first famous person I've ever met, and I'm glad I got to talk to her. The picture that my friend took ended up being a little blurry, but it's hard to tell. At any rate, here is the picture!

A-KAHN!

Hey guys, I got my ticket to A-Kon, how cool is that, I hope everyone got theirs. There was a party here tonight, and one at my friend Gavins, they were both pretty fun, but the cops broke up Gavins pretty early in the night. I'm gonna get some sleep early tonight, i've drank a bit. The actress from Carnivale, who plays Iris Crowe will be speaking on behalf of woman actresses for apart of our FVS program, I'm gonna go see her, and get some pictures with her, and I hope to get an autograph!!

Night guys!

Update from school

Word up. I'm in the campus library, the Bizzell Library to be exact. I should be looking over some stuff for my French quiz, but i'll get to that later. My update was so short last night, mostly cause I was really tired, I was so tired that I turned down Max and Joe for two seperate options to do some cool quests and an instance in World of Warcraft. Yeah, pretty tired eh?

Anyways, I went to bed with Sofie, who sleeps with me, on the account that she will whine all night inside of her cage, or walk around the house peeing on everything. I woke up this morning around 8am to a cold leg, I realized that Sofie, the little damn bitch, had peed on my bed sheets at the foot of my bed. As I relized that she has just done this, I look for her, and she is on my floor, in the corner of the room, taking her most favorite number.... So Sofie spent the rest of the morning in her cage, in the laundry room, on top of the washer that was washing my sheets. I love that Dog, I do. But this thing is like a kid, I just wish I could strap a diaper on her. Housebreaking her will not come soon enough.

Oh, and like I said last post, sorry about not finishing the tribute to Max the Dog, I will think of something else to make up for the two days that I missed.

Today should be a good day, I just have French left, then I'm going to go home and play WoW for a while, then go eat some Pepe Delgados with Ashley, then we are celebrating (drinking) my roommates birthday!!! Well, his birthday was on tuesday, but party night is tonight! Picture will soon follow!

Oh, I forgot to mention, my mom came down from Tulsa, and spend the day with me, we hung out my place, and she got to see the dog, then we went to eat lunch at Olive Garden (yummmm but expensive).

That is all, see you guys later.

PS Erik, JP, and James have linked to A-Kon 16's website, for today is the last day to get cheap tickets for the first week of June. I've been waiting for this day for a whole year. Last year was better than awesome, and I think that this year is going to be even better than that. Erik gave a break down on how things are going to go.

Hi guys, it's really fucking

Hi guys, it's really fucking late. I've been play WoW most of the night. Anyways, I made this huge post about whats been going on the past few days, and appologized for not updating, or finishing the awesome Max the Dog week. I'll have a new tribute later. But yeah, most people know by now, but I got a new friend a few days ago. When it's not really late, ill make a real post.

This is Sofie.

These are my girls!

Trouble Maker!

She is really great, although she shat in the bathtub last night, and made me mad. She needs to be housebroken and fast!

I'm way to tired to do anything right now. I just need this weekend NOW. Jesus christ superstar.

I'm a fucking delinquent

So, I just made the biggest mistake that anyone could ever do before a big research paper is due. Log off of a public computer without e-mailing your paper to yourself, or backing it up on disc first. Cause that's what I did. I spent 2-6 on my paper, working in the computer lab, as you saw in my first update. I normally e-mail myself, but I guess I just forgot. I went to my 6:00 movie (reservoir dogs, gotta love psycho film), and around 8 when it was done I was like, oops I forgot to e-mail myself my paper, oh well, I'll just go back to the library and ask the person who is on the computer I used to get up so I can grab that document. Ashley picks me up and tells me that they don't save documents, they erase them. So I'm thinking, it must be a 12:00am cycle or even quarterly. But of course it's gone. I called IT, they tell me it's gone, and the guy is even surprised that I'm calling. I've never heard of this, and never heard of this happening to anyone else ever. There is not one sign posted, not one document of information anywhere near the computers, just a bunch of fucking signs telling people to not bring drinks in, and cheesy high-school type of signs that look like road signs saying "Don't pick up virus" and "Internet worm crossing". I told the IT guy that this is ridicules, and that I know it's my own fault, but I will never do that again, and it wouldn’t had to happen to anyone if there was a document that stated that's how the computers worked. I think I'm actually gonna do something about this, and get involved, because this is the worse feeling in the fucking god-dammed world.

Now the good news, I called my teacher, Jason, and told him what happened, he told me no sweat. I let him know on top of it all that I had planed on finishing the paper tonight, so I could being studying for my test on Thursday. So he has given me until Friday night at 12am to turn it in.

So, now that I have a happy ending to my story. Just remember never, ever leave any document that you don't want to be erased on a public computer. Jesus fucking lord. I'm still really upset though, I have to rewrite like 4 pages of shit, it might be easier this time around, but it's gonna be a lot more painful.

At the library

Stupid school. Well I've been in the Library computer lab for like 3 hours now, i've written a few more pages on my paper, but im having a hard time figuring out one last thing I would like to write about. But once I do i'll be all done with this, besides proofing it, and making my bibliography. I hope to finish this before tonight, so I can start reading up for my test in history. It's going to be open book, but as you know, this could hurt you more than help you if you are not prepared, so I've got a lot of reading to do, and alot of notes to take. After Thursday I will be a free man, for a few more days! YAY.

On to the MAX

Max this is you and Joe, you always liked to jump on the couch. I bet it was kinda scary though.

Schoolin' is some bad times

I'm really getting fed up with school, I spent half the day working on this 7 page paper. ( I know 7 pages isn't bad by any means) BUT I just started today, and its not over the most common topic. I have to take a theory from my communications book, I've chosen the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, the theory that language defines cultures, like the eskimos have like multipul words for Snow, while the Arabs have only one word, because they have little concern for snow, so it's not important. It also talks about language between groups, and how it defines them. For the LAN guys I would say that there are words that you could describe that no other one in our clique would understand. Words like Puh, and didibuh are good examples. Anyways I'm aplying this to my favorite sitcom, seinfeld. They are known for all the different words they use to describe people, and catch-phrases, so I'm attempting to write a paper on this. My teacher has aproved my idea, and likes it, but i'm only half way done. Tomorrow is gonna suck.

MAX I LOVE YOU BUDDY

This is my friend Gavin, who is having some fun with Max, look how much fun max is having!

I hate school

I think JP will agree with me on this one, school is a stupid mother fucker. That's right. I've got this big paper coming up, and I've only now started working on it. I'll get it done, and I'm sure it's gonna be an alright paper, I just don't want to put in the effort, I'm very burned out on school. This weekend I went to the Midevil Fair in Norman, it was kinda cool, lots of fair food, and big fucking elephants. Oh and the weird midevil carnies, sometimes it felt like Carnivale, but it mostly just felt weird, and I was inbarrased of the big weird nerds walking around with their giant staffs, with their fat girlfriends with body hair.

Day 3 Continues - TO THE MAX

Max, you were a fun dog to play with, you never knew what was going on when we messed around with you, and that was awesome. I recall a story Joe told me, about when they moved the furniture around the house, and Max was confused and kept running into things, cause he can't see, and he wasn't used to the new layout. Oh silly Max.

This is me and my buddy.

Once more

Hey all, just enjoying my free afternoon. I've been at work since freakin 10am, and that's to early for me. But now I'm done working and my whole day is free for me to play video games. I checked out Shining Tears, and I must say it's pretty good. Fun action RPG that plays like secret of mana, but offers more of a tactical battle system that requires using moves at the right time, and the positioning of characters! My PSP is still going great, I've tried a few games out for it, Untold Legends, and Lumines, I own Lumines, and I LOVE IT, it's a great game. Untold legends is cool, but it's not a whole lot new from other games of it's kinda. But thats OK cause its portable, and that makes it awesome. Also playing Wi-Fi with friends would also make it great. Now we just need to wait for the tunneling sofware so I play token through my computer, and hopefully Joe and his friend Justin now that they have seen the raw power and awesomeness that is the PSP.

Now it's time for day two of Max to the Max (my new title, see it's a pun off of my website title, lolz.)

Here is Max in ALL HIS GLORY, Joe is taking him through a wildride, as he is confused where the ground went. I'm sorry you were blind Max, but it made you a cooler dog, than most dogs. (Dogs with lazers are pretty cool, sorry Max)

Here's to you Max (The Dog)

A good friend of mine, Joe Walker, lost his dog today, his name was Max. Max was the coolest dog in the world, he was a blind, albino rottweiler with no tail, and he was freaking awesome. If any of you know me, you would know that I'm a big lover of animals, specifically dogs. I have not had to go through what Joe is going through since I was a kid, and it's a terrible feeling. Snickers my dog, has been alive for over 13 years, and she is something in her 90's in dog years. It's a sad day to lose any loved one, and I just wanted to dedicate the following week to Max the dogs remembrance. Every day for the next week I'm going to post an awesome picture of Max to show our love for him.

Here's to Max!
