Wow, just got done playing Mario Kart: Double Dash for like 3 hours, and it was awesome. We played some of the new battle modes for a while, but we dindt unlock the true fun untill we raced the Mario Grand Prix (100cc). It was mass chaos. I've never been more frustrated with Paul than anytime in my life ever. It was like playing Mario Party mini game, but Faster, Longer, Harder, and extreme to the max! This is a true multiplayer game, i look forward to playing it over the break, it was a good buy. Ill see you guys after 9pm sometime, then I will bless you with my presence, and Double Dash.
Well ive enrolled in just a few classes, all heading towards Mass Communications major, and my minor in business. I need to take some writing test ::blahrgh:: and fix some problem with enrolling in a business class only for business majors, even though its going to be my minor, and I need to take it.....got to fix that up. Tina just reminded me of something, I cant come home till late Tuesday night, because my freaking cousin needs a freaking ride to my house, cause his family is staying at our house over thanksgiving break, and they live in Huston...Stupid fucking family, i need to get home, I mean I need to get to James home. The LAN awaits.....
Here I am again, updating at the union. I should be working on my anthro paper, but it won’t kill me to spend a little time on teh old web-blog.
So, I went back to my advisor, with the intentions of heading down my business path....and after looking at all the math requirements, it scared me away once again. My advisor showed me some other majors in Mass Communication and the college of journalism. I’m not sure, but I might go into this major, and minoring in business. I’m still not sure what im going to do.
Interestingly enough, in the union there are about 15 tables set up for a O.U. run LAN party, its really funny, right now 5 adults are setting up Huge network routers and gigantic electricity lines that put our extension cords to shame. I bet it would be a lot of fun, but I don’t be a nerd with out my friends.
Trent is coming down to Norman tonight, and he might be staying the weekend, how cool is that? Very.
I'll make this a quick update.
I only slept for a few hours last night, my friends Yasmeen and Shereen are fasting for their holy month (only can eat when the sun is down), so everyone else and I, have decided to join them, and see what its like for a day. So we woke up at 5am to have a huge breakfast full of waffles, eggs, toast and the like. Although, I said we woke up, but it’s more like, they, woke up, I just stayed up and played Final Fantasy till 5am before driving over to their house. We had a good time, after we ate, we all went back to sleep, I brought over my down blanket, and my pillow and slept till class.
Earlier that night out of boredom Ashley and I traveled to wal-mart so she could do some Christmas shopping, and i could do some 99cent pizza shopping. While we were there (2 hours) she asked me what time it was, and I replied with 15 till 12. Then it struck me, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers special Edition DVD 4 disc set was going to be on sale at midnight. So, when we were done, I proceeded to the electronics department to pick up my copy!! yaya. It was only a little more than 22 bucks, and SO WORTH IT. Of course I haven’t watched it yet, so I am only assuming, but judging from the great job they did with the additional 30 min, for the fellowship, im sure the 43 minutes extra of two towers will be even better. Also, im a huge fan of the other 2 discs that are full of interviews and detailed documentaries covering adaptations from the book to screenplay, all the computer stuff, stunts, fight trading, weapon making, editing, music, Weta workshop...omg. Anyways, as you can see im very excited to watch this, (8 or 9 tonight) and then enjoying the rest of the special features back alone in my room, or with rocky, he likes them too.
Oops, well it’s not so short or sweet. More like long and bitter.
Right now I am at the Student Union, where I should be studying. I think I have a problem. If you read my away message, it says something like, "Skipping French to study French." What am I thinking? Well, I guess i work it out in my head that it’s not a big deal if dong go, especially if im skipping to study the same subject. Believe it or not, I learn the most when I get help from Monica, or just on my own with flashcards or something. So I am sitting here, not doing anything, I got some lunch, I think that might be the most accomplished thing ive done today. I can seem to motivate myself to go sit down, bring my books, and get to it, but I open my French workbook, and stare at it thinking "I don’t know what the fuck this says." So, I turn on my laptop to whip out the French translator, and BOOM, hey wow, Erik updated, oh look, new news on FFX-2. Blah, this laptop has leaded me to this, now typing. I can't seem to just figure out this stupid language.
Oh more positive notes (if you don’t care about my digital self *Funran* then you can stop reading here, because pure nerdyness is about to flow harder than the great rains of windurst!) Ive reached level 15 yesterday around 9pm. I was a happy taru. This past week has been really frustrating because I knew that I needed to catch up with my friends, as far as my level is concerned. Although I have made great progress (especially for how many god-damn times ive died) im still "behind" not to far behind, because I finally got to play with Joe and Josh last night, and I haven’t been able to party with the likes of them because of my low level.
I got a new spell, yayaya. Stoneaga, its freaking sweet, but it cost 37mp, and that is ALOT. Although, I was talking to Joe, and I told him that the new spell is an area-effect spell, and as I was afraid of, this can cause problems, because I can lure more than one enemy at a time, and fuck a whole party, and get them all killed. But it didn’t seem to be much of a problem because 2 Dhalmles attacked us last night and I used the spell, and it still only hit one, even though it was relatively close to the other one.
oh and token, this title is for you, that might have been the funniest thing when that guy kept calling me Funcan, I don’t know why its so funny, but every time I say it I start to laugh, and smile. Right now im grinning, because Funcan is just so funny. Then you said something like "Tetsuo starts casting Sugar on Funcan" and I almost shit myself.
Anyways, I should get back to studying.
So, I got out of my advisement meeting today...... Didn’t really help, but it did get me thinking, and I guess that is important. I don't know what major I want to get involved in..... So, I might just do the most basic college degree....
Business.
Ugg, yeah I said it. No, there is nothing wrong with business, its just, well plain, bland, and boring. Although, who said school has to be fun, it might be good for me. I just hope that I can do it. I can't really figure out what I want to do, and it’s really stressful. I’m here at the union, "studying", really thinking about this stuff, oh and Final Fantasy. I'll let you guys know what I choose to do, but this very well may be it. I need to know, so I know what classes to sign up for in the spring. I still plan on taking a few "entertaining" classes to lighten the load, you know, stuff like Myth and Folklore, My friend Joe Puma, LOVES the class, and I think I would too, so I might jump on that boat.
Anyways, I also found out that I can’t drop French, and that makes me want to build a gun, and kill myself. Because I was really happy thinking about not having that damned class. So, ill have to squeeze through it with a D. D is passing for Foreign Language, unlike I thought, it is just going to KILL my GPA. Oh well, I might retake some of it over the summer, to help the grade.
On a happy note- White James has been talking about the LAN's that will be going on soon, and it just sounds so awesome, I really need to chill with you guys, its so nerdy, but its been some of the most fun ive ever had, ever. And I wouldn’t trade that in for anything. James said that maybe we could set up in the garage, after laying down some carpet squares, or some kind of tarp, and get some space heaters, and tables. I think this is a GREAT idea, we would have a lot of room, and we could be fucking loud. This also leaves more room for sleeping, in the main room. :) I get off the wed of thanksgiving week, and I hope to see you guys at the LAN (assuming that it will happen, it best happen) that night, and then a few weeks later. I think my last day of school is Dec 18th, or so. Right after my birthday and lord of the rings...........So the 16th is reserved for us guys, I will drive down for LOTR, and it will be grand.
Alright I should get to reading, that’s why im at the union. So yeah....
Oh ps. I edited the video from that party I told you guys about, its cool. I’ve been trying to make is smaller on divx, but, I can’t get it smaller than 50megs, so I will not be posting it on the net, unless there is a different way to………
Oh and I rented/burned the Return of the King game, its so fun, 2 player orc bash fest, I seriously recommend this game to anyone who want so have a lot of fun with a 2 player game, its so well done, and its EFFIN HARD. Oh well I burned it, so we can all enjoy this thanksgiving.

FFXI-
So, when I woke up I was lvl 8, right now I am 7. Grr.. I played for about 6 hours today, only to go backwards. Although it was worth it, because we were heading too Sando'ria to check out the shops. We (White James, Matt, Black James and I) took a boat to the east contenent, and travled south to Windurst. It's way better for us mages and I knew that I needed to go there. On the way, I went fishing while we are on the boat, and I caught a sea monster, and it came on the boat and killed me and Black James. But the ship was full of 40 people that were better than us. So a White mage revived me. Now that im in Windurst I have a new staff, new spells, and looking for new armor.
But we made a mistake, we left Josh, Joe, Max, Adam. This was not cool of us, and I feel really bad. We should have started in Windurst, like you guys mentioned, I didnt realize that Bastok would be so fighter dominate....So I take part fault for that one. I didnt think that mages were frowed upon in Bastok. So sorry guys. The boat is only 100 bucks, if you guys can get up there, White james im sure will tell you how we did it, im not quite sure, he was the only one with a map. IM really sorry guys. We will get you over here though.
Bad things-
Were not members of there region, and that sucks, are mog house are rentals (free) but we dont have the Furnishing option (boo hoo). We have to go to a Bastok Deligate to get are signat cast on us.....and some of the towns people are assholes. It cost 20,000 dollars to become one of them........once again, we should have started in Windurst, i didnt undertsand the concequences, or how the rules worked with the regions. Im sorry again :)
