Hey I meant to post more last night but I sorta fell asleep at the wheel there, oops.
I think I found the processor I might want sometime this summer, I hope it falls in price so I stuck it on price alert on newegg. I will look into the other pieces whenever the processor becomes more affordable probably sometime before Quakecon.
The new 360 is a ton quieter — strange how that works out.
Ok so, I would assume we are all heading to Akon again this year and hopefully some more will attend Quakecon? Quakecon truly is a ton of fun and I think EVERYONE should go, lets get some feedback on this to see what you guys want to do! Remember Quakecon is free.

I wonder how long I can hold out on a new PC. I haven’t significantly upgraded mine in about 10 months (videocard). I guess it depends how stuff shapes up in the spring with the new socket and new HDDs coming out.

that’s cool that the 360 is quieter, don’t think I’d be going to Quakecon. Be nice if you had a link, or posted the dates of it instead of me spending an extra 5 seconds on google!!!
gee whiz, they don’t have anything figured out for Quakecon yet??? pretty busy, so doubtful if I’ll be able to go unless it just happens to work out perfectly.
Seriously, not even a guess as to what month it might be in?? psh….
