Too Much Stuff

Monday, September 26th, 2005

Ok I have lots of stuff to talk about and not enough time.

To tide you over until I post when I get home from work head here

This is the band that opened for Coldplay and oh. my. God. was it terrible, so terrible. It will play music in the background upon going to the page — fast forward to the third song called It’s a Hit. This is the song they played first and it is totally NOT a hit.

Sleep Heals Wounds

Friday, September 9th, 2005

Ok so I feel quite a bit better today and now perhaps I should explain yesterday’s post.

They decided to pick someone from the deli to be our boss who has no experience at all. I would rather not vent because honestly I guess that I should give the guy a chance but the fact that they overlooked two of us that already do the job to me speaks volumes. What does that say about my work ethic? What am I doing wrong? I believe that they don’t want someone “young” running the front end maybe or the fact that all the csms are friends so if they promoted one of us that we wouldn’t be able to coach the other people, who knows. They might tell us someday, then again they might not. I don’t feel as angry today as I did yesterday but I think it was more of a shock and depressing type thing than any other emotion. Oh well.

Time for food then work, have a great weekend everyone!

Wal Mart Sucks.

Same **** Different Day

Thursday, September 1st, 2005

Yeah, read the title.

Things are continuing as normal, girl is doing great — well except for being sore. She has had practice all week and she is feeling it pretty hard by running multiple miles a day + squats + weights + etc. Hopefully things will improve when they stop with the conditioning part of practice and move onto the other aspects of preparing for the season. Work is continuing as normal, I spent most of my day today taking inventory on all of the parts that we had sitting in the back of the store and then went to “flash” the debit terminals to make sure they work properly, all in all things are turning around slowly at the store and hopefully will be for the better. I start my more normal schedule next week and I hope that it will bring the chaos level in my life down quite a bit but really only time will tell. I should hear about any possible promotion tomorrow so the minute I know something I am sure you guys will know and I will make a blog post of some sort tomorrow afternoon / night to let you know what happened.

So yeah uhmn, girls are great? Just thought I would say that. Especially the normal kind, she is being a sweetie and making chocolate pudding right now, yum yum. The trade off is that I am doing her laundry, sounds pretty fair right?

Lastly — my thoughts go out to those in the New Orleans area, things seem pretty messed up there right now — turns out JP had some family members involved and Max may get to head out there to help since he is in the national guard. Everyone have a good weekend and such.

And yeah… gas prices do suck!
