I strolled across these on the winbeta forums and thought it would be cool to share with you guys. Supposedly the OS is ten times prettier in person but I wouldn’t know since I am not cool and don’t have a beta invite yet.
Check these out though — still pretty snazzy looking, hopefully the OS has some nice new features besides just the eye candy.
The coffee kept me up until after 4am, crazy times. I did not make as much progress as I would have liked but I was still able to start working on the stuff that I wanted to. I replaced the default theme with something I came across on the wordpress site, you will probably get to see this theme until I get my custom one finished. Nothing else exciting to report besides that.
Despite the fact that I woke up this morning around the neighborhood of 8am’ish I am still going strong at 202 am. I have Starbucks to thank for this since I ran up there around 1030pm tonight. I have not consumed any sort of coffee drink in quite a length of time and yeah, uh… man this stuff is nuts. Seriously.
Ok, time to read about the wordpress theme system since WoW is broken and I don’t have anything else better to do.
I was able to tear my truck up yesterday and although I had a short interruption with the storms I was able to install the new heater core and re install all of my dash as well, hooraj!
I installed the new test version of Firefox yesterday and it seems a lot more responsive and stuff, everyone should check it out. You can install it alongside your current install of Firefox 1.0.6. Just click the download link for Deer Park Alpha 2.
Its back to work for me today after a nice 3 day weekend, good times!
Missed a day already, crap. Anyway, my evening last night was filled with seeing the awesome movie Wedding Crashers and then heading back to the apartment and making everyone home made ice cream. It didn’t quite turn out like I wanted but it was still quite tasty. Wedding Crashers was so damn good that I cannot stress how badly you should go see it. Drop what you are doing now and make plans to see this movie, funniest movie I have seen all year.
Time to fire up some WoW and get some chest piece action. For those in Tulsa try and stay out of the heat and be safe!
After finally running out of my favorite flavor of kool-aid I have now undergone a crusade to uncover some ice blue raspberry lemonade. If anyone sees it in town I will reward you with some sweet cash if you help me out.

At least I found an image of the new packaging… that helped out a lot. If i can find a UPC I can probably have someone order it at work, that would be awesome!

Hey, yeah I stole that title from those stupid signs around Tulsa, like OMG YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK (3 years later…).
I went to my dentist cleaning today and made an appointment to get the braces started on their final trek towards getting removed, yay! In other news Token asked me to setup a blog for him so be sure to start watching his little space on the internet for updates to get in the crazy black man’s head!

Hey, since I have moved back home and Erik asked so kindly I am going to be diligent about updating this site everyday from now on.
I have lots of things to discuss and perhaps if I become better about writing out my thoughts here I will be happier, who knows…
For those that know I have had all sorts of small girl drama lately. I have met really cool people but there always seems to be a catch, quite the bummer. I know eventually things will work out but recently the situation has seemed so dismal. Hopefully something cool will come along soon, only time will tell.
In other news, with my recent trip back home I am going to try my hardest to start getting shit done. There are a lot of ducks I need to start putting in a row, and the time to start is now. Here are some lovely examples.
1. Braces
Actually I am going later today to start taking care of this stuff, all of you guys have probably never known me without braces… and that is a sad thing. It’s time to finish this shit and move on and be sexier.
2. Theme
This place needs a theme, a long time ago I changed my profile to reflect that I was going to learn the wordpress theme system and create my own theme, I have failed in this aspect and I intend to correct it.
3. Games
There are quite a few video games that I have purchased or have laying around that I have never bothered to complete, I think its time that I put in the effort to finish these things and again move on with cooler and awesomer things. One fine example for now is Seiken Densetsu 3, I was close to the end when the English translation first came out some time ago but I never bothered to complete it. I have already logged about 5 hours into the game right now and already have half of the elements… good times. I am going to polish off Final Fantasy Tactics and maybe even whip out Star Ocean… you never know.
4. Job / Career
Here is a big one, Wal Mart has been great to me but it seems that they have changed a lot of how to work your way up in the past 2-4 months. Not to even mention that working retail isn’t exactly the best job in the world, no matter how high you are. Due to this I intend to invest extra effort to see if doing web work or repair work or such on the side would be a feasible business pursuit and if not I intend to start some type of schooling again within the next 6 months or so. By schooling I don’t necessarily mean college — in fact I would be more primarily interested in getting my foot in the door in a repair place somewhere where I can work out in the field… I don’t want to be stuck behind a desk for the rest of my life even though the money would be quite well rewarding.
I might have missed something, but I think I covered the biggies. Look forward to more updates on at least a daily basis. If I start slacking in any of these things I would appreciate anyone calling it to my attention, I want to be held accountable!
Last but not least, sad times… Erik is in Dallas now =( =(
