Automagic Spam Removal
I am going to put the finishing touches (aka I need the db password) on the automatic comment spam removal tool, look for an update with link tonight to take care of those dirty bastards that are taking advantage of us =(.

Looks like some of my family website comments are starting to get hit up with spam. It doesn’t make sense why they would bother to only put them in old posts though…. I hope they are getting paid at least.
Should be an option where posts older than… a month can no longer be posted to……..

there is an option where you can set yourself to get an e-mail whenever a comment is posted. Also, you can manual set old posts so that the comments are no longer “open” to be set. Might be a “pain in the butt” for some of you, but since we never look at entries past a week really, might as well just go through and set all comments to closed for old posts, and then each time you make a new entry, 5~15 posts back you set to closed on comments.
