HL2, where is it?

Wednesday, September 29th, 2004

HL2 packages were announced today, seems like Valve is trying to push the Steam platform pretty hard.

Nothing new to report, Jessica is still grrrrrreat, been playing a little bit of FFXI, and working 2 - 11.

It’s time for some lunch and stuff, everyone enjoy themself and good luck on your upcoming tests.

Spam just keeps on Rollin…

Rollin on Spinnaz!!! ok, seriously now….

Just saw 342 comments roll in that were spam. I took the liberty of deleting them from all the blogs AGAIN. I really hope the guy and/or girl that programmed that software is REALLY REALLY ugly and deserves to rot in hell. The rate of posting was so bad that mt bothered to send me an email, look.

A visitor to your weblog Nilla James has automatically been banned by
posting more than the allowed number of comments in the last 200 seconds.
This has been done to prevent a malicious script from overwhelming your
weblog with comments. The banned IP address is

69.50.187.99

If this was a mistake, you can unblock the IP address and allow the visitor
to post again by logging in to your Movable Type installation, going to
Weblog Config - IP Banning, and deleting the IP address 69.50.187.99 from
the list of banned addresses.

<3 old movable type.

CoP ships today! yay. Time for more work at wal mart now.

O_O

Whoa, Erik sent me a link to this, it’s really hot if you have the speaker setup to enjoy the 5.1

http://tuner2.com

This works fine in my winamp 5.05, dunno if you need to upgrade to that version or not.

Spam is bad — plus other new things.

I have just spent the last hour or so removing rogue comments from the oefnetwork blogs. Seems that some sort of butt crack wrote a program that automatically comments on blogs and sticks in advertisements for them. I banned some addresses on the blogs that I have access to and removed as many of the comments as I could (about 600+). Be sure to check your blog for comments that shouldn’t be there. If you need to know howto check your comments or are curious howto ban people from doing this let me know and I will explain howto do it.

Work has been… work, nothing new there. I did not get the new position which makes me sad, they are training someone else right now to do the things I can already do really well before she graduates to be an overnight csm. oh well. I will try again later in the year when they can’t hold me back due to my lack of tenure.

For those that didn’t know I do officially have a gf now, her name is Jessica and I ran into her at work. She has been incredible to me so far and we have tons of fun together.

BAP is getting ANOTHER, (yes another) redesign. Hopefully I will really like this one. I hope to have it live here really soon so keep your eyes peeled.

I signed a lease for an apartment this past week with Matt. We will be living at 71st and Mingo and will be moving in around January 1st. It is very exciting as I am ready to move out of the house and get out on my own.

Time for more html work.

Life Is Good

Friday, September 3rd, 2004

Things are pretty peachy right now. Life hasn’t been so kind to me in quite some time, really really exciting.

No news other than having a girl around is awesome, yay. No interview at work yet — but as far as I know they haven’t filled the position yet. I am going to inquire about the whole thing tomorrow.

Time for sleep.
