Greetings School Goers

Looks like most are starting school today, hats off to ya. I continue my full time life at wal-mart, oh joy. Nothing new in life really, maybe a girl, maybe not… we shall see how that one works out. First date went pretty well and we tend to talk on the phone a lot so I am going to keep my fingers crossed on this one. Matt ordered a new motherboard for the one that died, quite strange that it only lasted a couple of years, luckily the new one only set him back 50 bones so that isn’t too bad.

It is pretty nice that Cox was cool and gave all of us more bandwidth, sadly I wonder if they plan on raising the price 5-10 bucks in the near future since they gave us the bandwidth “for free”.

Anyway, it looks like september is quickly approaching and we will all be playing some nice sweet ffxi expansion, mm mm good. Not to mention HL2 nearing release at any moment. God bless PC games.

the reason cox gave us more bandwidth for “free” was so it would be better competition against DSL.

The thing all the anylists are saying is that cox is going to have to actually drop prices soon in order to keep and get new subscribers, this was the first year that cable didn’t gain subscribers, so, yeah….

I don’t understand. DSL is slower and costs only slightly less than cable. The “Hardcore” downloaders like us will always like what’s fastest. Cox even has a new option for 15 bucks more where you get 6.0Mb/768Kb which is definitely speedy, but I’m fine with regular price for 4.0Mb/512Kb. All I know is it’s only going to get faster baby!
