Nothing Interesting to Report

Thursday, March 25th, 2004

I have been trying my fair hand at unreal single player, as in progressing up the ladder. The matches have been very difficult to me and very frustrating. Blood rites is perhaps one of the stupidiest things ever, play instagib versus the team you just played, and if you lose you lose a team member permanently. ugh. ugh. ugh.

A lot of new faces in FFXI, great to have new people around!

Time to go rescue the saturn, more exciting news to come eventually…

The Aftermath

Monday, March 22nd, 2004

Everyone is back at school and work while I continue to be a bum. My blog looks quite ugly without any content and I still need to fix how the content div floats to the top, I will tend to that this week.

Time for some hardcore cleaning. More excitement, (or not) later.

LAN

Monday, March 15th, 2004

LAN is in progress, don’t expect many if any updates for a week or so.

Today is a Sad Day

Wednesday, March 10th, 2004

Despite the newest efforts to get rid of spam by some of the big internet players — I have been forced to re-install popfile. The amount of trash that has entered my cox e-mail recently has become annoying enough that I have had to install this filtering software, oh well.

For the locals — I am setting up the garage tomorrow afternoon, you are more than welcome to show up any time after that. I look forward to seeing everyone!

Everyone do well on their tests (if you have them), cheers… annnnd I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend! :D

OMG

Better

Wednesday, March 10th, 2004

MMM sleep fixes lots of things. I feel better everyone, sorry for the false alarm.

Back to doing nothing now, yay!

Busy Mind

Wednesday, March 10th, 2004

I need some direction in life, my recent un-employment has gotten me thinking too much and worrying too much about the future. I am trying to “take a break” and I don’t feel less stressed. Sure its nice not to hear bitching everyday but I wish I could lock in some nice long term plans instead of wondering what is going to happen.

Uncertainty sucks, lots.

Sorry if I have been short with anyone, or not exactly myself recently or even more so in the past year or so. I want to feel like life is fun again instead of a chore or a constant worry about what this is going to do, I am not asking for a party lifestyle or anything, just less worries. Perhaps given enough time I will figure things out and my worries and stress will leave me.

MMM LAN — hey guys its soon right?

Story Time

Monday, March 8th, 2004

I finally have time to relax, and this past weekend was a great way to start it off.

I got off work on time on Friday, and walked out with 800 bucks. Not too shabby. The “breakup” was suprisingly smooth and he didn’t tend to be overly upset at anything — which for him is a rather large achievement.

I went home to enjoy my weekend but my mind wondered to the future with worry about where my next job will be. Fortunately I have enough in the bank to survive for awhile — even with Uncle Sam taking $110 dollars because the custard stand w-2 screwed me.

Mike and his woman eventually came over late that night and we stayed up late playing some ddr extreme on the ps2.

We all woke up the next day around 11 am to head to the OKC tournament. We met the other Tulsa players up at Fun House and we (6 of us… yikes) piled into Mike’s Explorer and made the trek to OKC.

We stuck a power inverter + games in the car with us and I took a snapshot while in transit. We played mega man 2, metroid, punch out, bubble bobble, super puzzle fighter 2, and ddr extreme. The guy in the picture is none other than Taylor, he ended up winning the tournament and is a huge mega man 2 / rpg freak. I am going to extend a LAN invite to him so hopefully those that haven’t seen him at Fun House will get to meet him.

Freedom

Friday, March 5th, 2004

Freedom, it’s here.

Expect cool things soon, I promise!

1 more day

Thursday, March 4th, 2004

One day of suffering left, to be ended by the paying reparations for all my work! :D

I will be sure to post here to let everyone know how it goes and then it will be time for SWEET SWEET FREEDOM not to mention a DDR tourny the next day at cactus jacks.

LAN — can you spell it?
