I have talked to a few of you about this but for the ones that I have not this is the offical post. I was wondering if everyone at the lan would be up to pitching in a little bit of money, like 12-15 dollars to get my dad someting nice for Chrismas. The money gathered from the lan will equall 50% of the price and I will be covering the other 50%. This is a nice gesture for all his patence and work that makes the lanning possible. I was thinking along the lines of a new surround sound system that he plus all of us could enjoy. Please post and let me know if this possible. Thank You.

It is truly a happy day, one of the first large projects i undertook in high school has finally resurfaced after a considerable amount of work and other crazy happenings. Check out abysmalsoftware. Those of you that sit around the lan probably know that my workgroup is called abysmalsoftware and my dyndns is abysoft.dyndns.org, but in the cool news of the day abysmalsoftware is back up in its old form again.

Redesign, yeah its coming soon. I promise. Yeah i really mean it this time.

58. Yeah, as it sounds it is quite cold in the garage now. People have been wearing their coats and such like they are outside since, well its cold. This is to be expected with few people attending and the temperature outside being in the twenties.

In other news I have most of the site layout down on paper so I will be starting the html soon, perhaps i will have something to look at by the end of the week.

yeah so i installed linux for some reason on the laptop, perhaps it will motivate me to get more work done and such. It is running better than the windows xp did, so i guess that is good. It isn’t much to look at but those that are curious can check it out here.

Return of the king is approaching, 210 minutes of fun, yes 210 minute THEATER release, thats 3.5 hours folks, wow. more stuff later when i am not at work…

Those of you that have seen me eat during the lan now know of my love for mashed potatotes, with every meal. No exciting news to report, the garage isn’t as cold as it was the other night as the space heater did its job. I got samurai in FFXI but that really isn’t super exciting. I now look forward into dumping another 1-2 weeks of my time to get back where i was with my monk, fun times. It is back to another fun filled week at work and i hope to get some more time off to work @home from now on.

To those of you that are sick (Erik) please get better soon, being sick is no fun at all.

To those of you in college, best of luck again with your finals. I will keep saying that until the tests are over with, repitition can’t hurt can it?
