playonline interface is amazing, i can send e-mail, “instant” type messages, check where my friends are, play the game, etc. all in one pretty interface.

World Pass
The game hasn’t been bad thus far, i am a elvaan monk working my way up to samarai and so far so good. I was able to go from 1 - 6 pretty quickly but 7 and 8 took awhile because I was broke due to the world pass cost.

And as for the “bitch point” of having to get a world pass, it took me 2 hours by myself to upfront the cash, not a big deal at all.

Install.
The install went pretty smooth, about 35 minutes to install and give them my cc # and then about an hour to patch it.

Final Thoughts
Great game, I will post some screenies when i get home tonight.

Gamestop didn’t have final fantasy late this evening, going to head to wal mart after midnight to see if they put it out for some strange reason as some people have reported that some wal marts have shelf space out for them. Still doubtable.

no matter what i can still wait till noon tomorrow to pick my copy up, its not a big deal.

The Lan should start around midnight, if you want to show up a little earlier please just let myself or matt know.

I made the change to mozilla firebird this weekend and so far it has treated me well. If the 0.7 release has been this cool i cannot wait to see how 1.0 will fare against good old internet explorer 6.0.

not much news for me, just the usual work / sleep cycle.

The watching of star trek continues, i am about half way through Season 1 of the newest series Enterprise. So far i am really enjoying it.

i am doing my first backup of the linux server for safety sake, other than that its running fine and has been up for a month without being reset, keeps me happy ^_^

after i play some castlevania later today i will let you know how it is.

i had already psuedo been makin plans to hold a small “shindig” (spelling on that anyone?) to celebrate ff XI coming out. seems things are falling into place for a small get together for those of us interested in hanging out to play some final fantasy xi, those that are wish to attend please drop me an IM and i will give you the details.

Still working on webpage stuff, at times it is fun….. and at other times it is not. I think most of you guys know what the problems are in my job… so i won’t elaborate here.

The third website should go live sometime super late tonight, I will be glad to get it finished and I shall prepare to make my quick departure to look for something new. I wonder where i should try to work? =/

anyone else pick up matrix and watch the specials yet? i was wondering about the quality of those.

I am looking to hopefully start school in the spring semester again by taking some tech classes, anyone have a thought as to what I should pursue first? Leave me a comment if you have any ideas.

i am trying out the new mozilla firebird milestone release, so far so good. Only big complaint so far is that JP’s website has some javascript that attempts to insult my intelligence for not using internet explorer, how about getting rid of that JP? =P
