Boom… just like that. Unemployed. Hopefully this is a good thing, perhaps some motivation to find something better.

Back from A-kon, had work today, nothing exciting but the usual things occuring. I had a strange day today, i returned my mother’s phone call that she had previously left to me from yesterday late in the evening sometime (i had my phone turned off and cingular doesn’t time stamp voice mails), and she had called yet again today during work. She was concerned with acquiring some college text books for one of her current employee’s and was curious if i had them. She also had some sad news to share in regards to my dog. My dog had been acting strange for a little while and my mother was worried so she later went out to call the dog (kayla) and she didn’t come. She eventually found her and saw her in horrible condition. She was finally able to convince the poor thing to walk to the car and my mom took her to the vet. Upon arriving at the vet the doctor began to examine her and determine what was wrong with her. To make a long story short they did exploratory surgery to discover she had heavy internal bleeding and there was nothing they could do to save her. I feel really bad because number one, the dog has passed away and number two it ended up costing 600 dollars. I remember long ago when we first purchased the dog from the animal shelter for under 100 or 200 bucks if my memory serves me, just stinks to see the dog suffer, pass away, and then they still want a huge chunk of change…. guess that is medical service for ya.

And the icing on the cake to this situation… the only place to share this is this blog………. i guess i just miss someone to share my stories with, that is all.

In happy news, my truck is now mine, no more loan. yay!
