Suikoden III

Tuesday, April 29th, 2003

Getting packages by mail / UPS always brightens my day. I came home late last night to notice that on the table was a medium/small box with my name on it. I knew what it was as i ripped the box to pieces (see topic.) I popped it in and began playing…. and it was interesting. I have made very little progress in the game thusfar because it has been somewhat overwhelming but i look forward to the new experience.

Maybe, just maybe today i will edit the mt stylesheet…. ya never know.

watching the blue bar

Saturday, April 26th, 2003

I type this as i watch windowsupdate do its thing, i never thought it could take so long. Despite that, i have worked all day on this wireless internet / office / phone / setup / moving thing. Not too bad, but it did chew up 12 hours of my time today thus far. Today was one of those days where i wonder what is going to happen next. I had some weird deja vu experiences again where i felt like i have experienced this all before, down to the order i do some tasks… very creepy feeling. In simpler terms i would really like to know where things are headed for the next 6 months - 1 year, because right now i quite frankly don’t know. On the bright side of things, i am happy to be where i am and wouldn’t be anywhere else at this time. There are a lot of nifty things on the horizon and i cannot wait to see what happens (just knowing some of them would be nice.)

The only complaint i have right now is lack of “free” time. I still have not had time to change my style sheet for mt, nor work much on the abysmalsoftware.com backend software.

Lastly, a thanks to Joe for pointing out something about freelancer, I have since then been playing it and enjoying the single player side of things. I hope to get invovled in the multiplayer section here pretty soon.

Workity Work

Friday, April 25th, 2003

I feel buried in work right now, not such much a bad thing yet i feel that i have quite a few things on the horizon that i want to achieve. I guess my best bet would be to lay them out in a logical order.

Time for a redesign, please wait…

Ramble… Ramble

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2003

With a title like that, i am reminded of the song from the opening sequence of Initial D, 3rd stage. The song title is gamble ramble if i am not mistaken… despite i digress.

I was sad to find out yesterday that there are no game boy advance sp’s in existance… well at least at the mall. I intend to trade mine in (the original gba) for the “shiny” new model. I ordered the new shocks for my truck today and i look forward to installing them, not because it “tricks” my truck out but because my truck is in bad shape in regards to the ‘ride’. Those that have had the pleasure know what i am talking about…. the shocks are shitty. If you wanted to begin to understand how bad my shocks are imagine going over a bump and its like wheeeeeeeeeeeeee wheeeeeeeeeee wheeeee wheee…. its like up and down and up and down and up and down…. Therefore i hope that the purchase will fix the issue. I was able to find some aftermarket shocks from stylinconcepts.com that were only 15 more dollars than shocks at autozone, sounds like a good deal to me (had a buy 3 get 1 free type thing).
I am still waiting on my cell phone screen to arrive, along with the hands free kit and new face plate, perhaps when i get home today there will be a present for me.

I have to setup a wireless network when i get off from the stand today and then when i finally get home i hope to look at my css sheets for mt again and get it lookin snazzy, the goal is to break out the photoshop and attempt to make something halfway decent looking, but don’t expect a lot out of me.

Lastly, abysmalsoftware.com is about to go active again. Any of you guys that are interested in uh “volunteering” work towards a project (ask me!!) drop me an e-mail / im / etc. I already have some stuff lined out to what needs to be done and could use any help if you guys are bored or such.
